Blizzard Bags!

 An explanation of and instructions for the district's "Blizzard Bags" pilot went home today in your child's backpack.  The project was created by the district and approved by the state of Massachusetts to help alleviate the number of snow days tacked on to the end of the school year.  Burlington has created a website specific to Blizzard Bags, which can be accessed here: http://bpsblizzardbags.org/

There is also an email address that has been created specifically for questions concerning Blizzard Bags: blizzardbags@bpsk12.org

The books that need to be read for the project will be available in the Fox Hill library, the Burlington Public Library, as well as online on a website called Epic! Books for Kids.  Parents are welcome to create their own free account on this website to read the materials and track your child's reading.  I have also created an account that students can log in using.  That information went home on a separate sheet today.
